 Cleaning silver

Cleaning silver with soda and aluminum
To polish silver, use cleaning agents from your kitchen cupboard, such as soda and aluminum foil. Here's what to do:

  • Place a sheet of aluminum foil in a container
  • Fill the container with 1 liter of hot water
  • Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of baking soda in the water
  • Place the silverware on the foil. Each silver piece should touch the foil and be completely submerged.
  • Wait until everything is completely clean. Once the visible side is clean, turn the silverware over.
  • Remove the silver from the container, rinse with clean, lukewarm water and dry.
